1. What are cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work the same way. This policy explains what Hospitality Europe B.V. uses on hebv.nl.
2. What we use
We keep this to a minimum. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not share your browsing behaviour with third parties for marketing. We do use one cookieless service to recognise which organisations visit us, described below.
Functional storage (essential)
We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage (cookie_consent) so we don't ask you again on every visit. This stays on your device and is not sent to us for tracking. It is strictly necessary to remember your preference, so it cannot be switched off.
Security (hosting)
Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and delivered reliably. These are not used to identify you or to advertise.
Company identification (Leadinfo, cookieless)
We use Leadinfo, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to recognise the organisation behind a business network visiting hebv.nl. It matches the IP address against public company data and places no cookies for this. It identifies companies, not individual people, on the basis of our legitimate interest. You can opt out of recognition at any time at leadinfo.com/en/legal/opt-out.
3. If this changes
If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first, before any such cookie is placed.
4. How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings, and clear the stored consent choice at any time. Because we only use strictly necessary storage, doing so will simply mean the cookie notice appears again.
