Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hospitality Europe B.V. collects and uses your personal data when you visit hebv.nl or contact us through this website. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG).

1. Who we are (data controller)

The controller responsible for your personal data is:

Hospitality Europe B.V.
Zwolle, the Netherlands
Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 81806310
Email: info@hebv.nl

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data you actively provide and the minimum technical data needed to run the site securely:

  • Contact form data: your name, email address, and the content of your message. Optionally, your phone number and company name if you choose to provide them. We also record that you agreed to this policy.
  • Technical data: when you load the site, our hosting provider automatically processes limited server-log data such as your IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. We do not use this to track or profile you.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and we do not build visitor profiles.

3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and follow up on a possible working relationship, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep the website secure and functioning, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating a safe, reliable site.
  • To comply with legal obligations where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c)).

We will only send you updates about our services if you have separately and explicitly asked us to.

4. Service providers (processors)

We do not sell your personal data. We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement:

  • Vercel Inc.: website hosting and delivery.
  • Resend: delivery of the email generated by the contact form.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep contact enquiries only as long as needed to handle your request. If no working relationship follows, we delete them within 24 months. Data tied to a contract or a legal obligation is kept for the period the law requires.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@hebv.nl.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our website or services evolve; the date at the top shows the latest version. For any privacy question, contact us at info@hebv.nl.
